Welcome to Hunter Health

Paul, Melissa, Coby, Ross, Christian, Ros and Lisa welcome you to Hunter Health.

We have established Hunter Health in modern new premises at
Suite 8.03 / 5 Hunter Street in Sydney, and hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Hunter Health is a multidisciplinary health clinic comprised of experienced, committed professionals utilising the latest technology and research in health care.

At Hunter Health we strive to provide you with an exceptional experience as we work with you to resolve your injury or health concerns.

Paul Driscoll (Osteopath)

B.App.Sci (Osteo)

Paul completed a Bachelor of Science in Osteopathy at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 1993.

He is a lifelong learner.

He utilises an integrated practice of Osteopathy, active release (ART), trigger point dry needling and functional range conditioning (FRC). He believes a clients thorough understanding of pain and injury assists in the prevention, recovery, and recurrence of injury.

Melissa Rice (Osteopath)

B.App.Sci (Osteo Studies), Master Osteo

Melissa completed a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters Degree in Osteopathy from the University of Western Sydney in 2007, with a specialist interest in the neurophysiology of pain.

Melissa is dedicated to patient education as the best outcome to recovery of pain and injury, and prevention of recurrence. This includes ergonomic advice, stretching and exercise regimes and advise on the activities of daily living. Hands on treatment includes stretching, joint mobilisation, massage, Active Release Technique, Dry Needling, cupping and manipulation.

Christian Paesano (Osteopath)

BSc hons Osteopathic Medicine

Christian qualified from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. Since then he has run several clinics in Greece and London before moving to Sydney.

Utilising his background as a national gymnastics athlete, his current fascination is in designing rehabilitation and training routines. Integrating hands on techniques including dry needling, soft tissue and manipulation with mobility and strength programs Christian aims to provide holistic treatments.

Combining his thorough knowledge of osteopathy together with life coaching and goal setting, Christian designs treatment plans that support clients not only to resolve pain and symptoms quickly but also to lead healthier and more dynamic lives.

The focus of his treatment is to educate and inspire each client leaving them feeling more functional in their daily lives as well as in control of their health.

Coby du Preez (Massage Therapist)

Coby is a fully qualified massage therapist having gained his Certificate IV in Remedial Massage and Diploma of Lymphatic Drainage Massage from Sydney’s Nature Care College in 2002. He is able to vary his approach to suit a variety of conditions and meet the needs of the individual.

He has worked closely with osteopaths, physiotherapists, orthopaedic surgeons, exercise therapists, sports people and the performing arts.

Coby moved his Muscle Medicine Massage Therapy practise to Hunter Health in January 2012.

Ross McNeill (Massage Therapist)

B.Sc Sport & Exercise Science, Dip R.M.

Ross is highly experienced, with over 18 years working within the health and wellness industry and qualified as a remedial massage therapist from Sydney’s Australasian College of Natural Therapies. He comes from an exercise background, having completed a BSc in sport and exercise science in Scotland and working in the fitness industry both overseas and in Australia.

His style of massage incorporates remedial, myofascial and trigger point techniques. He also utilizes myofascial cupping as another favourite treatment tool. Furthermore, guidance on corrective exercise will restore your body’s optimum balance in the quickest time possible.

Ross has provided sports massage for the Manly Marlins rugby union and Tongan international teams as well as professional tri-athletes, and has a special interest in providing ongoing maintenance to running and cycling enthusiasts!

Ros MacIntosh

Practice Manager

Ros has worked with Paul for 19 years and has a great working relationship with all the practitioners at Hunter Health.

Lisa Madeley (Front Desk)

Receptionist

Lisa joined the team on the front desk 5 years ago, and has been a welcome addition to Hunter Health.
